25.5" & 28.625" Scales Fret Slotting Template

This is a single laser cut guitar (or other stringed instrument) fret slotting template. It is made to work with StewMac's fret slotting miter box, for easy and accurate fret slotting.

The template has one scale length on each side, for two total scale lengths. The scales are the following:

25.5" Telecaster/Stratocaster/Jazzmaster Scale
28.625" Telecaster/Stratocaster/Jazzmaster Baritone Conversion Scale

The scales have an extra slot for the nut included, and each side has 26 fret notches. There is a centered hole near one end so it can be hung up and stored safely when not in use.

While available in both MDF and clear acrylic, I definitely prefer the clear acrylic. The acrylic material makes it very durable, and makes it so the double sided tape used to hold the template to the fretboard doesn't mess up the surface of the template over time. Instead it cleanly removes when you're done cutting the slots.
