7-String Tele Bridge Plate
A few years ago I designed a custom 7-string Tele bridge plate for a customer. I ended up getting a couple of them made in case something got screwed up in the press breaking/bending process. Everything went smoothly, so one went to the customer, and the other stayed with me.
I have no intention of building a 7 string Tele, so I've decided to put it up for sale here. It's made to work with a 7-string Tele bridge pickup from the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop. I'm sure if you contact them they can get you one wound to your specs.
As for saddles, it was made to work with these saddles from G&L. My customer was able to get the people at G&L to sell him 7 saddles, so he didn't have to buy two sets and end up with a bunch of extras.
The bridge plate comes in a satin brushed finish, and a right handed configuration only. It is made from 14 gauge (2mm/0.075") stainless steel.
I don't intend to have any more made because of the extra hassle of getting them bent after doing the finishing, so this is a good chance to get a part that's hard to come by. There's not a lot of 7-string Tele bridges out there.
