Copper Jaguar Plate Set
I made this set of Jaguar plates as a test, to see how well alternate materials laser cut. The result ended up looking really neat. I plan on setting up a section of the site to describe alternate materials that plates can be special ordered with.
The hardtail plate is great for those of you that don't use the vibrato on your Jazzmaster or Jaguar. The strings anchor into "keyhole" notches, and the slightly lower string placement should offer a bit more sustain. The notches are all 1/16" wide, so they'll fit up to .062" gauge strings.
The rhythm circuit plate is the same design as what comes on stock Jaguar guitars. It is made to fit a 2-way slide switch and 2 roller knobs.
The slide switch plate is the same design as what comes on stock Jaguar guitars. It is made to fit three 2-way slide switches.
The main control plate is the same design as what comes on stock Jaguar guitars. It is made to fit a combination of up to 3 potentiometers or output jacks, with standard sized 3/8" holes.
The holes are all countersunk, so that flat head or oval head mounting screws can be used.
Made from 14 gauge (2mm/0.063") 110 copper.
This set is set up for right handed guitars, with a satin brushed or distressed finish option available.
The plates will naturally oxidize over time and turn green unless they are clear coated. You can also use things to enhance the patina if this is an effect that you desire.
