Stratocaster (Vibrato) Guitar Routing Templates
The most recognizable guitar design in the world, it has been used by millions of guitarists for over half a century. Debuting in 1954, it was a natural evolution to the Telecaster. Featuring a double cutaway contoured body and more versatile pickup and wiring options, it quickly became an icon that soared to the "stratosphere."
This set of templates includes a main body template with back vibrato cavities and a body template with neck pocket and other front cavity routs. You also get a template with universal routs for larger pickups, and two different pickguard templates. One is the classic layout with 3 single coils, while the other is an HSH configuration with humbuckers in the neck and bridge. Also included is a neck template with separate 50s, 60s, and 70s style headstocks to go with it.
The body and humbucker rout templates include registration holes along the center line. If you use screws to hold the templates to the wood you’re routing, the holes will help keep everything lined up between templates. They are located so that the holes will be hidden under the pickguard.
